dc.description.abstract White light pictures and filter grams in three narrow band interference filters centered on the emission lines In Fe X, Fe XIV and Ca XV have been obtained. We have observed a coronal structure towards the north western limb of the Sun which rose up to 1.2 solar radii. This structure is observed only in white light pictures and the Fe X filter grams. The structure is totally missing from the Fe XN and ca XV filter grams. We have checked the H alpha limb and disc composite pictures of the Sun taken on 23rd and 25th October 95 by the MLSO, USA aVl11iable through the World Wide Web, and the structure we see is missing In these pictures also. On these bases we conclude that the structure is in pure emission from Fe X and is an Interesting feature to conduct further analysis and interpretation.
