dc.description.abstract Very good color pictures of the solar corona of 24th October 1995 were taken by a team from Andra University, from Budge Budge, Calcutta. A total of 36 pictures recorded the various phases of the eclipse from the first to the lust contact during the totality, the diamond ring on both side and the solar corona were nicely photographed. The coronal glow and the chromospheres red ring were clearly visible ID these photographs The Photometric studies and the special features of the diamond ring and corona arc in progress. en
