Multi-dither Shack Hartmann sensor for large telescopes: A numerical performance evaluation

Abstract

Wavefront reconstruction accuracy strongly depends on the way the wavefront distortion points match the wavefront sensing locations. A multi-dither sensor largely improves the wavefront reconstruction accuracy in large telescope AO systems.
