dc.description.abstract	A Stigmatic mounting of holographic plane has been proposed and its properties have been studied theoretically. In this mounting the observation is to be made about a normal direction and different regions of the spectrum are to be brought into the field by altering the angle of incidence by rotation of the grating. The plate holder is to be moved on a straight railing when the grating is rotated to change the region of the spectrum. Design of the grating, for the case of aberrations free spectral images has been given.	en
