dc.description.abstract	Spectroscopic observations of Comet Ikeya-Seki (1965f) with slit and slitless instruments are described. Sodium emission in the coma is seen from October 9 to November 1. A sodium tail extending upto 2 degree from the nucleus has been seen.	en
