Abstract: | The several experiments carried out by the M. P. Birla Planetarium were undertaken by two teams of scientists. One stationed south of planned and the other at Diamond Harbour, near Calcutta. The team at Allahabad moved the Celestron 14 Telescope with all the auxiliaries and filters as well as the CCD camera from Calcutta to a site about 25 kilometers south of Allahabad. The CCD Images of the corona were taken through a polarizer fitted 10 front of telescope. The images were taken in two parts with the polarizer turned through a 60 degree angle |
