dc.description.abstractThe variation of light intensity was recorded at Birla Industrial & technology Museum, Calcutta using a moving coli galvanometer and LDR on the eclipse day and one day prior to the eclipse. It was found that there was a sharp fall in the intensity just a few minutes before the maximum phase of the eclipse and a sharp rise in the light intensity just after the maximum phase as seen in Figure 1.en
