D 168625 (B9-A0 Ia) was classified as a post-AGB star and also as a luminous blue variable. We have analysed the high resolution optical spectra of HD 168625 and derived the atmospheric parameters and the chemical composition. We obtained Teff = 15000K, log g = 2.5, xit = 6km/s and [M/H] = 0.0, and estimated the chemical composition. We find [C/H] = -0.3 +/- 0.1, [N/H] = 0.5 +/- 0.1, [O/H] = 0.0 +/- 0.1, [Mg/H] = -0.3 +/- 0.2, [S/H] = -0.4 +/- 0.1, [Si/H] = -0.5 +/- 0.1 and [Ne/H] = 0.8 +/- 0.2. HD 168625 has overabundance of nitrogen and underabundance of carbon. The oxygen abundance is solar. This indicates mixing of CNO cycle burning products to the surface.en
