Using crochet data at Kodaikanal and solar-microwave-burst data at Toyokawa, Japan, a study is made of the nature of crochet-associated solar microwave bursts. Consideration of the results in the light of earlier work indicates that the nature of crochet-associated solar microwave bursts depends on the monitoring frequency of the bursts.en
