The pathways for the formation and destruction processes of ring molecules in the interstellar medium are proposed and their abundances are calculated under steady state conditions. The calculated abundances are of the order of 10/sup-12n(H), where n(H) is the abundance of hydrogen. A detection proposal is presented.en
