V photometry of HD 116204 have been obtained on 57 nights during the 1983-1984, 1984-1985, and 1986-1987 observing seasons with the 34-cm reflector of the Vainu Bappu Observatory in Kavalur. A photometric period of 21.9 + or - 0.2 d and a mean (B-V) of 1.196 + or - 0.010 have been determined, and a mass ratio close to unity for HD 116204 is implied. The results suggest a vertical shift of the entire light curve towards brighter magnitudes and a low inclination of the rotation axis.en
