dc.description.abstractThe Indian Institute of Astrophysics and the Raman Research Institute in a joint collaboration program operate the Gauribidanur radio observatory. Details of the various radiotelescopes available at the observatory are given. A brief account of the results obtained is also presented. A description of the low frequency synthesis radio telescope constructed on the island of Mauritius is also given.en
