| Abstract: | With the growing demand of communication requirement all over the world, there is no way out to go in for higher carrier frequencies. A far sighted move be to in for laser communication links in areas like earth to satellite communications. This paper gives a simple model of such a link comparing the various lasers that may be used. It also suggests the use of 9.11 mu m CO/sub2/ laser as a strong candidate for such a link |
