Abstract: The design parameters of the servo system for the MACE imaging Cerenkov telescope, based on functional performance, operational and safety requirements of the system are briefly discussed. the servo system is designed around electronically commutated motors using fully digital controllers, pc compitable hardware and software and ethernet connectivity for remote monitoring and control.
