A general survey of the different processes that lead to the production of deuterons and antiprotons in different regions of space and in cosmic rays is made. The avaiable observations on these particles are summarised and the information obtained from such studies are discussed. The importance of future investigation of these particles and the possible consequences of such observations are brought out.en
