dc.description.abstractThe periodogram analysis of the light curves of the delta Scuti star 44 Tau (=HR 1287) has been carried out. The Fundamental period of 44 TAU, based on the epochs of maximum, is found to be 0.d144969 and the beat period is found to be 0.d43957. The ratio of period for this star is P1/P0=0.752. the colour (B-V) and the postion of the star on the HR-diagram suggest its spectral class to be F0 IV-FIIV. The effective temperature of the star is derived to be nearly 7400 0/sup/K and its mass 2.0M.en
