Monte Carlo calculations have been done to understand various characteristics like the energy threshold, collection area etc of the recently commissioned PACT. The energy threshold of the array for gamma rays is found to be about 900 GeV. A large collection area than many other experiments is a reflect ion of the large extant of the array.en
